We are a small Morgan breeding farm in Willseyville, NY run by Boyd and Julie Andrews, and their daughter, Samantha. Andrews Morgans was refounded in 2010, picking up where Boyd's grandfather, Glenn Andrews, had left off in the 70s and 80s breeding quality Morgans in a surprising array of colors.
Our main goal is to produce Morgans that exemplify the best of the Morgan breed. That means that they are versatile, intelligent, loyal, and easy keepers. Our interests are primarily driving and trail riding, but our horses could excel in any discipline. They are athletic, quick learners, and will do anything asked of them. Easy keepers means more to us than just a low feed bill, although Morgans do seem to get fat on air. It means that they are easy to have around as well. Our horses can be handled by anyone and they are respectful of other horses. We expect great manners from them whether they are turned out in the herd, standing in the barn, working, or being shown off to visitors and we start training them for it at day one.
We strive to produce quality foals with great conformation and disposition. They are the product of years of careful planning and training on our part. Although we have a rainbow of Morgans, color is always the last factor in a breeding decision. Conformation and disposition always come first. All of our foals are friendly, curious, and willing to please. They are handled from birth and exposed to many different situations. We set them up with a solid foundation so that you can take them in any direction you choose.
