This horse really is a treasure! He is a 2020 palomino silver dapple Morgan stallion. He has jaw dropping looks and the amazing Morgan disposition with gorgeous coloring as a bonus. Although the silver dapple gene is only expressed on black pigment, Tiberius has the most interesting and unique luster to his golden coat. He has several foals on the ground for his previous owner already and had his first foal for us in 2024. Andrews Gallant Treasure is a stunning chestnut filly and everything we hoped from Tiberius's foals. Tiberius is expecting two foals including a full sibling to Andrews Gallant Treasure in 2025. We have lightly started Tiberius in riding and ground driving and will continue his training in 2025. We also hope to breed him to a few of our mares.

We decided to geld Andrews Kellies Komet when he tested to have one copy of the GYS1 gene which is connected to the condition Polysaccharide Storage Myopathy 1. None of our horses, including Komet and his offspring, have ever shown symptoms , but we tested when it was discovered in related horses. This condition can cause tying up, lameness, and muscle soreness. Symptoms can develop in horses with a single gene, but horses with two genes are believed to have more severe cases. There is a lot about this condition that is still unknown, especially in Morgans, but diet and exercise are major factors in if symptoms develop and how severe they are.

Komet sired ten foals before being gelded. Eight Morgans and two Morabs. Komet and all of his foals are incredibly athletic with great minds. We plan to use Komet as a general riding and driving horse now that he's not otherwise engaged during the breeding season.
